Overview
Afriski Mountain Resort is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Clerk Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in stock management, procurement, and distribution, ensuring efficient operations within the resort. This position requires someone who is physically fit, organized, and proactive in maintaining inventory accuracy and stock control.
Key Responsibilities
-Ensure adherence to company standard operating procedures, including vehicle usage agreements.
-Perform data entry of procurement and stock information (training provided).
–Collate orders, ensuring stock values align with goods received or issued.
-Arrange and allocate goods according to Company SOPs.
-Conduct weekly and daily stock counts for accurate inventory management.
-Allocate stock to various F&B outlets and manage distribution.
-Plan and execute weekly stock orders in advance.
-Deliver stock efficiently across resort outlets.
-Maintain high hygiene standards, particularly in adherence to cold-chain policies.
-Ensure clean and hygienic uniforms and equipment.
Requirements & Skills
–Physically fit and mobile, capable of lifting, bending, and reaching frequently.
–Minimum age of 18 years with no back, leg, or arm problems.
–Fluent in English (spoken, written, and reading).
–Basic mathematical skills for stock control and ordering.
-Ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently.
–Fast learner with a willingness to adapt to the work environment.
–Willing to live on-site if required and available to work overtime when necessary.
-Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
–Honest, reliable, and conscientious, with sober habits.
-Strong understanding of food storage and cold-chain management.
–Proactive approach to problem-solving and operational efficiency.
