Carpenters (14 Positions) – Kopano Ke Matla Joint Venture

Overview:

Kopano Ke Matla Joint Venture is seeking experienced Carpenters to assist in construction and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidates will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing structures made from wood and other materials.

Responsibilities:

-Construct, install, and repair wooden frameworks, walls, floors, doors, and furniture.

-Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project plans.

-Cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, and other materials according to specifications.

-Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

-Measure, mark, and level surfaces to ensure accuracy and alignment.

-Install fixtures, fittings, and other structural components.

-Work closely with other tradespeople such as steel fixers, plumbers, and electricians to complete projects.

-Ensure work complies with safety and building regulations.

-Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Requirements:

-Trade-certified carpenter with a recognized qualification.

-Minimum of three years’ experience in a construction or industrial setting.

-Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical instructions.

-Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.

-Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.

-Ability to work independently and in a team.

-Physical fitness and ability to work in demanding site conditions.
