Job Purpose:

Lesotho Post Bank, the only Basotho-owned bank, is seeking a qualified and customer-focused Customer/Credit Consultant to join its team in Mohale’s Hoek. The purpose of this role is to develop lasting customer relationships by selling and cross-selling banking solutions, delivering prompt and efficient service, and understanding and addressing customer needs with professionalism and integrity.


Key Responsibilities:

-Identify and utilise opportunities to grow market share

-Apply product knowledge to achieve sales results

-Generate quality leads for banking products

-Be ready and presentable when the branch opens

-Offer customers appropriate financial solutions (sell, up-sell, cross-sell)

-Ensure customers have all the information they need to make informed decisions

-Help customers understand and benefit from the solutions provided

-Serve customers promptly, efficiently, and respectfully

-Deliver correct and clear product information

-Professionally engage and communicate with customers according to service standards

-Understand customer needs through effective probing

-Process requests accurately and efficiently

-Address and resolve customer complaints timeously

-Build and maintain strong customer relationships

-Uphold LPB brand values and maintain confidentiality

-Adhere to all LPB policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

-Execute all sales and service processes accurately and without error

-Meet all performance expectations in line with key result areas


Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Degree in any Business-related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in a customer service or sales role, preferably in the financial services sector, is an added advantage

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Integrity and honesty
  • High levels of accuracy and speed
