Job Title: Butchery Assistant (2 Positions)

Overview:
We are hiring 2 Butchery Assistants to support butchery operations, assist with cutting, packaging, and maintaining cleanliness in the meat section.

Responsibilities:

-Assist with cutting, trimming, and preparing meat products under supervision

-Package, label, and display meat products for sale

-Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the butchery area, tools, and equipment

-Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of meat products

-Support the Blockman and Butchery Supervisor with daily tasks

-Monitor product quality and freshness, and report any issues promptly

-Comply with all food safety and hygiene standards

-Assist with stock movement and general butchery housekeeping duties

-Provide basic customer assistance when required

Requirements:

-LGCSE or equivalent qualification

-At least 2 years of experience in a butchery or food service environment

-Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions

-Good understanding of hygiene and meat handling
