Overview:
The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring merchandise, ensuring stock availability and alignment with customer needs.

Responsibilities:

-Source and procure quality merchandise aligned with customer preferences and market demand

-Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers

-Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid shortages or overstocking

-Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships

-Collaborate with store management and department heads to forecast buying needs

-Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify new trends and opportunities

-Ensure accuracy in purchase orders, pricing, and product information

-Maintain procurement records and support audits or inventory reviews

-Work closely with inventory and logistics teams to ensure smooth product flow

Requirements:

-LGCSE or equivalent qualification

-2 years of experience in procurement or merchandise buying

-Strong negotiation and supplier management skills

-Proficiency in stock systems is advantageous
