Overview:
The Buyers Clerk will assist the Buyer in processing orders, maintaining purchase records, and coordinating deliveries with suppliers.
Responsibilities:
-Assist the Buyer in preparing and processing purchase orders
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchase and inventory records
-Follow up with suppliers to confirm order details and delivery timelines
-Verify delivery notes, invoices, and stock receipts for accuracy
-Coordinate with receiving and inventory teams to track incoming stock
-Handle data entry tasks related to pricing, product codes, and supplier information
-Provide administrative support, including filing and documentation
-Communicate with internal departments and suppliers regarding order queries
-Assist in compiling procurement reports and stock movement summaries
Requirements:
-LGCSE or equivalent qualification
-2 years of clerical or retail experience
-Strong attention to detail and computer literacy
-Good communication skills
