Overview:

Metropolitan Lesotho, a subsidiary of the Momentum Group listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, is seeking a proactive and results-driven Retention Advisor to join its dynamic team in Maseru. This temporary role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-performance culture, ensuring client satisfaction and policy retention through effective communication and operational excellence.

Role Purpose:

To manage the collection of missed premiums and ensure the retention and maintenance of the In-Force Book. The role involves interacting with clients and stakeholders to recover missed premiums, resolve client issues, and uphold service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

-Manage the collection and recovery of outstanding premiums and loan debts

-Ensure timely allocation of premiums to individual policies

-Attend to client and stakeholder queries within defined timelines

-Assist with relodging of payment instructions and resolution of complaints

-Maintain regular communication with clients to support retention strategies

-Contribute innovative ideas to improve client satisfaction

-Complete productivity tracking and reporting tools consistently

-Participate in client meetings and support the Retention Team Leader

-Keep abreast of industry and legislative developments impacting the role

-Take ownership of personal learning and skills development

Minimum Requirements:

-A Degree in Accounting, Business Management, or a related field

-Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

-Previous experience in credit control or premium collection management will be advantageous
