Overview:
The Lesotho Highlands Development Authority (LHDA) is seeking a highly experienced and responsible Driver to join its Katse Operations Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe transportation of passengers, goods, and materials, ensuring the security of all vehicle occupants and cargo. The position requires a professional individual with excellent driving skills, particularly in challenging terrain.
Key Responsibilities:
-Operate LHDA vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.
-Ensure the safety of passengers, goods, and the vehicle at all times.
-Perform routine vehicle inspections and report faults or issues.
-Adhere to LHDA driving policies and road safety regulations.
-Keep accurate trip records and complete required documentation.
-Perform any additional driving or logistical duties as assigned.
Requirements and Skills:
- A valid Heavy-Duty Driver’s Licence.
- A valid Public Driver’s Permit.
- Minimum of 10 years driving experience, preferably in mountainous terrain.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and road safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of responsibility and integrity.
