Overview:
BEDCO is inviting applications for the position of Marketing Consultant to support its Business Development Service Providers (BDSPs) programme. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting SMEs in developing and executing marketing strategies that increase visibility, attract customers, and drive sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop customized marketing strategies for SMEs across various sectors
- Provide guidance on branding, digital marketing, and customer engagement
- Conduct market research and assist businesses in identifying their target audience
- Train SME owners and staff on marketing techniques and tools
- Advise on promotional campaigns, social media management, and advertising
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in marketing consulting, business development, or brand management
- Knowledge of digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and SEO best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to craft practical, low-cost marketing solutions tailored for SMEs
- Creativity, innovation, and a results-driven approach
