Overview:
SUN JV, a subcontractor on the Lesotho Highlands Development Authority (LHDA) Project, is looking to appoint experienced Concrete Foremen to lead and supervise concrete works on-site. The role involves managing all aspects of concrete placement, formwork, finishing, and crew coordination to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion of concrete-related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
-Supervise and coordinate all concrete operations including formwork, pouring, finishing, and curing.
-Ensure concrete work is executed according to project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
-Allocate tasks and manage the performance of the concrete crew.
-Inspect and verify formwork, reinforcement, and concrete mix before pouring.
-Monitor productivity and ensure efficient use of materials and manpower.
-Enforce site safety protocols and ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations.
-Maintain daily progress reports and communicate with engineers and site management.
Requirements and Skills:
-Certificate or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
-Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Foreman in concrete construction works.
-Strong understanding of concrete technology, construction drawings, and site procedures.
-Proven leadership and team management skills.
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
-Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
-Willingness to work in remote project environments.
