Overview:
The Parcel Counter Attendant will be responsible for receiving and safeguarding customers’ parcels during their shopping experience.
Responsibilities:
-Receive and tag customer parcels accurately upon entry
-Issue parcel claim tickets and ensure secure storage of items
-Return parcels promptly and correctly upon presentation of claim tickets
-Maintain parcel counter area in a clean, orderly, and secure condition
-Monitor unclaimed items and report any irregularities to supervisors
-Interact courteously and professionally with all customers
-Ensure all parcels are handled carefully to avoid damage or loss
-Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding parcel handling
-Assist with basic front-of-store duties as required
Requirements:
-LGCSE or equivalent qualification
-2 years of retail or customer service experience preferred
-Attention to detail and honesty
-Ability to interact well with customers
