Job Title: Serving Assistant (4 Positions)

Overview:
Sefalana Shopper is hiring 4 Serving Assistants to work in the deli section, supporting food preparation, customer service, and maintaining hygiene standards.

Responsibilities:

-Assist with preparing, serving, and packaging deli foods according to set standards

-Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the deli area, including counters and equipment

-Refill food displays and ensure items are fresh and attractively presented

-Follow food safety and handling procedures at all times

-Provide friendly and efficient service to customers at the deli counter

-Inform customers about product options, specials, or promotions

-Monitor product freshness and remove expired or unsellable items

-Support stock rotation and assist with inventory checks

-Assist with cleaning duties and closing procedures as needed

Requirements:

-LGCSE or equivalent qualification

-Minimum of 2 years’ experience in food service or retail is an advantage

-Good personal hygiene and food handling practices

-Friendly attitude and strong communication skills
