Job Title: Deli Back of House Assistant (2 Positions)

Overview:
The Deli Back of House Assistants will be responsible for assisting in food preparation, kitchen maintenance, and ensuring the cleanliness of the deli back area.

Responsibilities:

-Support deli staff with food preparation tasks, including cutting, portioning, and assembling items

-Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment

-Follow proper food handling and storage procedures at all times

-Assist in receiving, unpacking, and storing deli supplies and ingredients

-Dispose of waste properly and maintain cleanliness in refuse areas

-Ensure back-of-house workstations are organized and stocked

-Assist with daily cleaning schedules and deep cleaning tasks as required

-Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly

-Work closely with the deli front-of-house team to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

-LGCSE or equivalent qualification

-At least 2 years of kitchen or food prep experience preferred

-Understanding of food safety protocols

-Ability to work efficiently behind the scenes
