Overview:

First National Bank (FNB) Lesotho is seeking a motivated and results-driven individual to join its team as an Insurance Sales Consultant in Maseru. This position is ideal for a sales-focused professional with a passion for building client relationships and driving revenue growth within the financial services industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting insurance solutions within FNB’s customer base while ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards and internal service agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Apply the appropriate sales processes to meet defined sales targets within your designated area.
  2. Cross-sell insurance products to existing FNB customers across various segments.
  3. Ensure all insurance activities comply with the Insurance Act and related Service Level Agreements.
  4. Provide support to both Retail and Corporate & Investment Banking (CCIB) teams to ensure timely processing of insurance business.
  5. Collaborate with the Commercial Banking team and Relationship Managers to identify and place insurance needs with approved underwriters.
  6. Drive the achievement of revenue targets across the Retail and CCIB divisions.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven track record in insurance or financial services sales
  • Knowledge of insurance regulations and underwriting processes
  • Ability to manage stakeholder relationships within a banking environment
  • Strong communication and client engagement skills
  • Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to work under pressure
  • High level of integrity and professional conduct
  • Familiarity with service-level agreements and compliance procedures is an advantage
