Shift Supervisor – Puma Energy

Overview

Puma Energy is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shift Supervisor to oversee transport operations and document processing at our Maseru depot. This role requires a strong administrative background, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to ensure compliance with transport policies and regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth documentation processing, compliance enforcement, and transporter engagement to support efficient bulk fuel distribution.

Key Responsibilities

Document Processing (40%)

-Ensure timely and accurate delivery and loading documentation.

-Maintain compliance with Puma Energy policies and procedures in all documentation processes.

Stakeholder Engagement (20%)

-Maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

-Act as a key liaison between Customer Service Centre (CSC) and transport representatives.

Compliance & Policy Enforcement (15%)

-Ensure all road tankers loading at the terminal/depot have a valid Safe Loading Pass (SLP).

-Oversee and enforce transport policies and procedures at remote sites.

Transport Operations & Reporting (20%)

-Compile fleet, delivery, and volume data for distribution point reporting.

-Support compliance with transportation KPIs including expenditure, stock loss, and safety performance.

-Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly records for auditing and reporting.

-Ensure all transactions are processed accurately for both customers and the depot.

Additional Responsibilities (5%)

-Support on-site operational tasks as needed.

-Assist in implementing corrective action plans based on audit results and transport KPIs.

Minimum Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in transport/logistics operations, preferably in the fuel or energy sector.

-Strong understanding of legislation and regulations governing the transport industry.

Excellent administrative and document management skills.

-Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

-Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSEQ) standards.

-Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
