Overview:
The Lesotho Defence Force (LDF), under the Ministry of Defence, is inviting motivated and disciplined young Basotho men and women to apply for positions in the national military service. Successful candidates will undergo military training and serve to protect and uphold the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Lesotho.
Key Responsibilities:
-Participate in basic military training and national defence duties
-Uphold discipline and commitment to the LDF code of conduct
-Assist in various peacekeeping, security, and civil operations within and outside Lesotho
Requirements:
-Must be a Mosotho with valid identification
-Age between 18 and 24 years as of 01 February 2025 (born between 01 Feb 2000 – 30 Sep 2007)
-Must have passed LGCSE with at least 4 subjects
-Physically and mentally fit for military duties
-No criminal record or pending legal charges
-Must be willing to serve under military discipline and command
-Applicants with higher education (Li-Certificate, Diploma, Degree) are also encouraged to apply
