Lucara Botswana (Pty) Ltd operates the Karowe Diamond Mine in Letlhakane, currently transitioning into underground operations. To support the ongoing development of the underground mine, we are seeking suitably qualified candidates to join our team. These positions are for a 36-month fixed-term contract.
Warehouse/Logistics Supervisor
Overview:
The Warehouse/Logistics Supervisor will report to the Warehouse/Logistics Coordinator and is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, issuance, and reporting of materials and equipment for the underground project. The role requires adherence to supply chain policies, procedures, and health and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
-Oversee the procurement, receipt, storage, and issuance of materials and equipment.
-Ensure proper storage and record-keeping of project materials.
-Maintain document control systems.
-Promote a safe and healthy working environment.
Requirements:
-Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
-Minimum 3 years of experience in warehousing operations.
-Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles.
-Proficiency in MS Office.
-Valid Class B driver’s license.
-Knowledge of project management principles is an added advantage.
