Core Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review lead schedules and supporting documentation for the Annual Financial Statements (AFS)
- Draft disclosure notes compliant with GRAP
- Document, investigate, and address risks within working papers
- Analyze and follow up on monthly general ledger tracking and audit exceptions
- Assist in audit file preparation and overall AFS compilation
- Identify and recommend improvements in internal controls

Qualifications and Experience:
- N3 with Maths and a Trade Certificate as a Welder
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant welding experience
- Valid Code EC driver’s licence and PDP
- Practical welding test (to determine skill level) is preferred
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform metal and welding repairs and maintenance on municipal machinery and equipment
- Detect and repair defects including leaks and hidden breakages
- Repair items such as wheelbarrows, dumping trailers, pallets, and vehicles
- Assist with training programmes for metal workers and welders
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to perform MAG, MIG, TIG, and CO₂ welding on various materials and thicknesses

- Plan, monitor, and control the sub-directorate’s budget and performance indicators
