Overview
MCE Electric is seeking a responsible and experienced Delivery Driver to join our logistics team in Johannesburg. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of goods to our valued customers, representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Key Responsibilities
–Timely Deliveries: Ensure goods are delivered on time to customers while following assigned routes.
–Customer Service: Provide exceptional service by addressing customer concerns or questions during deliveries.
–Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance of the delivery vehicle to ensure its safety and functionality.
–Documentation: Accurately complete all delivery-related paperwork and digital documentation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations for safe driving practices.
- Load and Unload: Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring products are handled carefully to avoid damage.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse and stock control teams to achieve daily operational goals.

- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with customers professionally and handle inquiries or issues.

- Reliability: Punctual and dependable, with a strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently.

Qualifications and Experience
- Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
- Valid code 10 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
- At least 2 years of delivery driving experience.
