Overview:
Mernok Elektronik (Pty) Ltd is seeking a dedicated and reliable General Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will contribute to maintaining a clean and safe work environment, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and organization.
Responsibilities:
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors of various types.
- Dust ceilings, light fixtures, countertops, and loose furniture.
- Scrub and sanitize toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
- Empty trash cans regularly.
- Wash and dry windows.
- Coordinate with the line manager to ensure a sufficient supply of cleaning products.
- Report any breakages encountered during the cleaning process.
- Notify the line manager of any repairs needed.
Requirements:
- A Senior Certificate or equivalent is preferred.
- Proven experience in a similar cleaning role.
- Proficiency in using various cleaning products and equipment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision.
