Overview
Sethren Holdings is looking to hire six (6) skilled Millwrights to join their maintenance and engineering team. The ideal candidates should have hands-on experience in industrial mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repair. This role involves maintaining, installing, and repairing mechanical systems and machinery to ensure efficient plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
-Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical systems
-Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on plant equipment
-Diagnose faults and repair pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, and motors
-Align and calibrate mechanical systems and components
-Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals
-Ensure work is performed safely and complies with safety regulations
-Support plant upgrades and improvement projects
-Keep accurate maintenance records and report critical issues
Requirements
-Minimum 3 yearsβ experience as a Millwright in mining, manufacturing, or heavy industrial settings
-Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
-Practical experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment
-Able to work independently or within a team in a fast-paced environment
-Physically fit and capable of working in confined spaces or at heights
-Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or standby as required
Qualifications
- Trade Test Certificate as a qualified Millwright (essential)
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field (advantageous)
- Knowledge of safety and compliance in industrial environments
