Job Overview

BMA Mahalapye is seeking a dedicated and practicing Muslim male citizen to serve as a Muazzin/Assistant Imam. The ideal candidate should be married, possess sober manners, and have the necessary qualifications and experience to perform all duties related to the role.

Key Responsibilities

-Call the Adhan (Call to Prayer) and lead Iqamah at designated prayer times.

-Assist the Imam in leading prayers and religious activities.

-Conduct Islamic teachings and community engagement programs.

-Maintain the mosque premises and ensure its cleanliness and orderliness.

-Support and participate in religious and community development initiatives.

-Provide guidance and support to the Muslim community on religious matters.

Key Requirements

-Must be a practicing Muslim male citizen.

-Must be married with sober manners.

-Minimum qualifications and experience in Islamic studies, religious leadership, or related fields.

-Strong knowledge of Islamic teachings, Quran recitation, and religious practices.

-Ability to work closely with the Imam and the Muslim community.

-Good communication and leadership skills.
