Part-time Administrator

Overview: INSPIRE (Initiative for Social Performance in Renewable Energy) is committed to enhancing social performance within South Africa’s renewable energy sector. Since its inception in 2021, INSPIRE has focused on capacity building, best practices, and leadership development to support a just transition. The organization partners with key stakeholders to implement training, research, and community engagement initiatives, driving positive impacts in the renewable energy industry both locally and globally.
Responsibilities:
- Provide part-time administrative support (up to 20 hours per week) to the management team.
- Assist the Managing Director with travel arrangements, project follow-ups, and communication tasks.
- Track funder project reporting requirements and ensure compliance.
- Coordinate logistical needs for projects in collaboration with finance and project teams.
- Support project event organization, including venue searches, stakeholder engagements, and RSVPs.
- Perform administrative tasks such as uploading expense slips, tracking timesheets, and verifying insurance requirements.
- Attend online management meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences.
- 3 to 5 years of senior administrative experience, preferably in an NGO setting.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Health Systems Strengthening Director
