1. Motor Vehicle Mechanics (X30)
Overview:
As a Motor Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of various types of vehicles, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues related to engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of repairs.
2. Auto Electricians (X23)
Overview:
Auto Electricians will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical systems in vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and test vehicle electrical systems, including wiring, batteries, and lighting.
- Diagnose faults in electronic systems and components.
- Repair or replace defective wiring and electrical parts.
- Install aftermarket electrical accessories, such as sound systems and alarms.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and services performed.
3. Spray Painters (X3)
Overview:
Spray Painters will be responsible for applying paint and finishes to vehicles, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets company standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and cleaning.
- Mix and apply paints, primers, and finishes using spray guns.
- Ensure that the painted surfaces are free from defects and imperfections.
- Maintain painting equipment and keep work areas clean and organized.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working with chemicals and paints.
4. Panel Beaters (X4)
Overview:
Panel Beaters will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicle bodywork to its original condition following accidents or damage.
Responsibilities:
- Assess damaged vehicles and determine necessary repairs.
- Remove and replace damaged panels and parts.
- Repair dents, scratches, and other bodywork issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Prepare vehicles for painting and ensure a smooth finish.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
