Overview:
NEWA Human Solutions is seeking a reliable and trustworthy Shuttle Driver to join our team in Pretoria. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the safe and timely transportation of passengers while adhering to the designated shuttle schedule. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have excellent customer service skills, and be comfortable using modern technology.
Responsibilities:
-Safely transport passengers to their destinations on schedule.
-Ensure passenger comfort and safety throughout the journey.
-Follow the provided shuttle schedule precisely.
-Maintain the shuttle vehicle to ensure it meets safety standards.
-Drive the shuttle to designated spots as required.
-Report any incidents or issues to management promptly.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent post-matric qualification.
- A valid, unendorsed code 10 driver’s license with a Professional Driving Permit (PdP).
- At least 3 years of driving experience.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using Google Maps and other navigation tools.
- A thorough understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Ability to estimate driving time and fuel efficiency.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Tech-savvy, with the ability to use a smartphone and other technology.
- Comfort in reading and following schedules and routes.
- A clear criminal and driving record.
- Neat and well-groomed appearance.
