Overview:

Ni-Da Transport is seeking experienced and reliable Code 14 Truck Drivers to join our team in Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal. The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods while maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance with road regulations. We offer competitive pay ranging from R12 000 to R25 000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

-Operate Code 14 trucks safely and efficiently for the transportation of goods.

-Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.

-Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle’s safety and roadworthiness.

-Maintain accurate delivery records and complete all required documentation.

-Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to ensure timely deliveries.

-Manage loading and unloading of cargo while ensuring proper securing of goods.

-Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues.

-Work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.

Requirements and Skills:

Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of driving experience with a Code 14 license.

Education: Matric certificate.

License: Valid Code 14 driver’s license with Professional Driving Permit (PDP).

Clearance: Clean criminal record.

Communication: Strong communication skills in English.

Mobile Communication: Must have own mobile phone.

References: Traceable references from previous employers.

Availability: Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
