Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Office Assistant to join our team in Mokhotlong. Reporting to the Cluster Accountant, the successful candidate will ensure the cleanliness, hospitality, and smooth operation of the office environment.


Responsibilities

1. Maintain Office Cleanliness and Hygiene (50%)

  • Clean office desks and chairs daily.
  • Dispose of trash and maintain a tidy environment.
  • Restock restroom supplies such as air-fresheners and toilet rolls.
  • Wash dishes and staff lunch containers.
  • Sweep and mop floors and office surroundings.

2. Track and Replenish Office Supplies (20%)

  • Monitor and report office supply levels for timely replenishment.
  • Record stock movement and track expiry dates.
  • Safely organize storeroom items for easy access and visibility.

3. Support Office Administration (10%)

  • Assist in checking and reporting the condition of office assets and surroundings.

4. Visitor Hospitality (10%)

  • Prepare the office for visitors, ensuring the boardroom and restrooms are ready for use.
  • Welcome guests and assist with refreshments during meetings.

5. Filing and Organization (10%)

  • Maintain and organize office records and filing systems.
  • Rearrange cabinets, boxes, and files to ensure easy access.

Perform additional tasks as assigned.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: COSC/LGCSE (relevant certification is an added advantage).
  • Experience: Minimum of two years in a related role.

Skills and Capabilities

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized, punctual, and responsible.
  • Basic understanding of English and computer skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards.
