Overview
24HR Emergency Medical Care Practice-Kazungula (Polyclinic) is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Paramedic (EMT-B) to provide pre-hospital and on-site emergency medical care. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a rapid response to medical emergencies and delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
-Respond swiftly to medical emergencies and provide immediate patient care.
-Assess, stabilize, and manage patients in pre-hospital settings.
-Administer basic life support (BLS) and other emergency medical procedures.
-Operate and maintain ambulance and emergency medical equipment.
-Communicate effectively with medical professionals, emergency responders, and hospital staff.
-Keep accurate patient records and submit detailed reports.
-Ensure compliance with emergency medical protocols and healthcare regulations.
Requirements & Skills
–Certified Emergency Medical Technician – Basic (EMT-B) qualification or equivalent.
–Valid professional license to practice as a paramedic in Botswana.
-Experience in pre-hospital emergency care and medical response.
-Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
-Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
-Ability to work in high-stress environments and flexible shifts.
