Overview

Pepkor Lifestyle is seeking a dependable and skilled Courier Driver to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will ensure the timely and secure delivery of packages, maintain accurate delivery records, and consistently provide outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Delivery and Pick-Up:
    • Safely transport packages, stock, and documents to customers, stores, service centers, and drop-off points.
    • Return undelivered items or incorrectly loaded stock to the service center.
  2. Stock and Equipment Management:
    • Take accountability for all stock, vehicles, and equipment entrusted to your care.
  3. Compliance and Safety:
    • Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
  4. Customer Interaction:
    • Provide exceptional, customer-focused service during all interactions.
  5. Teamwork and Self-Management:
    • Work effectively within a team while managing tasks independently.

Requirements

  • Educational Qualification:
    • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Licensing and Experience:
    • Valid Code 10 driver’s license and Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a courier driver.
  • Skills and Knowledge:
    • Familiarity with transportation principles, record maintenance, and distribution safety practices.
    • Knowledge of Pepkor Lifestyle’s products, services, policies, and systems.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service.
    • Proven ability to work with minimal supervision.
