Overview
AECI Botswana (Pty) Ltd seeks two reliable and diligent Plant Assistants to support explosives manufacturing and storage operations at Khoemacau Copper Mine. The ideal candidates will assist in plant maintenance, housekeeping, and handling of explosive materials.
Key Responsibilities
-Maintain housekeeping standards around the plant and magazines
-Assist in plant, magazine, and vehicle maintenance and repairs
-Load and offload products and materials delivered to the site
-Perform quality checks on explosive raw materials
-Assist with Mobile Charging Unit (MCU) refilling operations
-Perform any other tasks as directed by the supervisor
Requirements
-Cambridge Oβ Level / BGCE certificate or equivalent
-Minimum 2 yearsβ experience in explosives manufacturing/storage
-Valid Driverβs Licence
-Valid Open Pit or Underground Blasting Licence
-Fluent in both Setswana and English
-Must be a Botswana Citizen
