Overview:
The Shunter Driver is responsible for assisting in loading and transporting products on assigned routes to ensure they are delivered without damage. The role involves effective utilization of the company’s vehicle to meet company objectives.
Responsibilities:
–Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with the team.
–Vehicle Use: Operate the company vehicle efficiently and safely.
–Stock Management: Ensure accurate handling and management of stock.
Requirements:
-Grade 12 certificate with numerical skills.
-Valid Code 10 driver’s license with PDP (Code 14 is advantageous).
Experience:
-Experience in driving.
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
-Skills in negotiation and influencing.
Key Outputs:
-Ability to work in a pressurized environment.
-Availability for a 6-day work week, including potential Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays as per the roster.
-Willingness to work shifts and overtime as required.
