Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Shunter Driver to join our Despatch team. The successful candidate will assist in the loading and unloading of vehicles on designated routes to ensure products are delivered safely and without damage. This role involves the effective use of company vehicles, including maneuvering links and smaller trucks on-site, to support our operational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with team members and supervisors.
- Vehicle Operations: Efficiently operate company vehicles, adhering to safety and operational guidelines.
- Stock Management: Ensure accurate handling and management of stock during transport.
Requirements:
- Educational Qualifications: Grade 12 with strong numerical skills.
- Licenses: Valid Code 14 license and Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
- Experience:
- Proven driving experience.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
