Overview
Flyfofa Aviation Training, in partnership with the National Skills Fund (NSF) and the Department of Higher Education and Training, is offering a fully funded bursary to train aspiring pilots from a Private Pilot License (PPL) to a Commercial Pilot License (CPL).
This program includes training for:
- Private Pilot License (PPL)
- Night Rating
- Hour Building
- Instrument Rating
- Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
The course covers all theoretical and practical components, including internal and external SACAA exams, enabling you to earn your Commercial Pilot License. This qualification is your gateway to flying commercial aircraft while being remunerated.
Program Highlights:
- Duration: 24 months of full-time training.
- Inclusions: Accommodation and a monthly stipend.
Entry Requirements
- South African citizenship.
- Age: 17 to 23 years.
- Reside in Gauteng Province.
- Completed Grade 12.
- Achieved:
- Level 5 in English,
- Level 5 in Mathematics,
- Physical Science (advantageous).
- Qualify for a Class II Aviation Medical.
- Excellent communication, judgment, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to multitask with great hand-to-eye coordination.
- Safety-oriented and culturally sensitive.
Who Can Apply?
- South Africans of all racial groups residing in Gauteng Province.
- Child Grant Recipients.
- Learners from quintile 1, 2, or 3 schools.
Selection Process
- Pre-screening: Applications are reviewed for eligibility.
- Aviation Medical Examination: Shortlisted candidates undergo medical screening.
- Panel Interviews: Final selection involves an interview process.
