Overview
Rand Water is seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to join our team as a Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing general driving duties, including the delivery and collection of parts, equipment, and documents.
Responsibilities
-Perform general driving duties
-Deliver and collect parts, equipment, and goods
-Ensure timely and accurate delivery of documents
Requirements
-Grade 12 qualification
-Valid C1 Driver’s License
-At least five (5) years of relevant driving experience
Knowledge
-Valid and relevant driver’s license
-Basic knowledge of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) standards
-Familiarity with the National Road Traffic Act and AARTO regulations
Skills
-Advanced driving and anti-hijacking skills are desirable
-Strong customer service orientation
-Attention to detail and quality
-Ability to meet deadlines
-Good housekeeping practices
