The goal is to get new customers, get college students interested, increase sales, and keep the Red Bull brand in check on their school.
This means talking to customers directly, asking them to try out products, and working at Red Bull events to make an unforgettable brand experience.
Responsibilities:
You will be in charge of several important areas as a Red Bull Student Marketeer. Here’s how it works:
Be a Brand & Product Ambassador:
- Show the brand’s personality and beliefs every time you talk to a customer.
- Get more people to know about Red Bull by giving away samples and answering questions from customers correctly.
- Make a custom campus plan and put it into action to get students involved and bring the brand to life at the university.
- Meet people in the area and keep in touch with them.
- Share real material on your social media pages to get people more interested in your brand.
- Help improve the brand experience at Red Bull events and events that are funded by Red Bull.
Be a Sales Expert:
- Make friends with local account managers in charge of sales and make sure Red Bull is in stores.
- Work with sales to get more Red Bull on your college grounds and in the surrounding area.
- Use Red Bull materials to keep the company in the minds of sales accounts.
- Make sure that the store’s standards are always followed perfectly.
Executional Excellence:
- Always do a great job with performance and pay close attention to details in every part of your job.
- Talk to the team regularly, both in person and online, to share ideas and work together.
- Use the dedicated online platform to plan your actions and report them correctly and on time.
- Help Red Bull’s media business grow by giving them local information, trends, and chances in general.
- Take part in investigations into products and, if needed, do your own investigations into tracking.
Qualifications and Skills:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- Great ability to talk to people
- A person who is charming, active, upbeat, and friendly
- Being able to connect with different people at different times
- A deep understanding of college life, the city, and the surrounding area, including interesting places and activities that happen behind the scenes
- A willingness to think creatively and act on ideas, along with a strong sense of duty and initiative
- The ability to study and work part-time, and the willingness to work nights and weekends
- A desire to get better at many different types of skills, especially sales, marketing, and negotiating
- Links to important faculty and staff groups and people
- A strong desire for the Red Bull brand and product
- A full driver’s license with no points on it
- Able to work on weekends and evenings
- Attendance at college
- Able to speak English, Afrikaans, Setswana, Sesotho, and Sepedi well
Where You’ll Be Based:
It will be in North-West, Nelspruit, Polokwane, South Africa, where you will do your job.
