Job Summary
We are looking for experienced and dependable Code 10 and Code 14 Drivers to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring the safe and timely transport of goods across South Africa. If you are a skilled driver with a strong work ethic and extensive knowledge of South African road networks, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
–Transport Goods: Safely deliver goods to various destinations within South Africa, ensuring timely and efficient service.
–Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance on vehicles, ensuring optimal condition, including inspecting brakes, tires, and mechanical features.
–Route Planning: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of South African road networks to plan effective and efficient routes.
–Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, safety standards, and company procedures to ensure safe travel.
–Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate trip logs, delivery records, and necessary cargo documentation.
–Customer Service: Maintain professionalism and provide excellent service when interacting with clients.
Minimum Requirements
- License & Experience: Valid Code 10 or Code 14 Driver’s License with PrDP and:
- 5 years of Code 14 driving experience for axel-based vehicles.
- 2 years of Code 10 experience for rigid-based vehicles.
- Knowledge of South African Roads: Extensive knowledge of major routes, tolls, and rest areas.
- Additional Requirements:
- Clear criminal record.
- Medically fit.
- Good communication skills.
- Punctuality and professionalism.
