Overview:
Sekolo sa Anne-Stine and Tsholofelo Rehabilitation Centres are seeking highly motivated, qualified, and self-driven Physiotherapists to join their teams in Molepolole and Serowe. These Non-Governmental Organisations provide rehabilitation, stimulation, and advocacy for children with disabilities. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering comprehensive physiotherapy services to enhance the quality of life for children living with disabilities.
Responsibilities:
-Provide rehabilitative services to children with disabilities.
-Advise on specifications for physiotherapy appliances.
-Requisition supplies necessary for physiotherapy activities.
-Ensure proper upkeep of equipment and the availability of required materials.
-Guide, motivate, and coach subordinates to improve service quality.
-Assess children with disabilities and plan appropriate therapy and treatment.
-Assess clients’ needs and refer them to relevant healthcare professionals, including Medical Practitioners, Social Workers, and Speech Therapists.
-Plan and implement Community-Based Rehabilitation and collaborate with the team.
-Adhere to professional standards and ethical conduct in executing duties.
-Compile and submit periodic reports as required.
-Perform any other duties required to meet service needs.
Requirements and Skills:
- Qualifications:
- Degree in Physiotherapy.
- Must have an Active Practice License and be registered with the Botswana Health Professions Council.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience working with people with disabilities (PWDs) is an added advantage.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Supervision and leadership abilities.
- Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Strong drive for results and customer focus.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- High ethical standards and commitment to values.
- Other Requirements:
- Must have no criminal record.
Benefits:
- Salary: C1 (P 192588 – 229104) per annum.
- Leave: 30 working days per annum.
