Job Overview
As a Fruit Packer, you will ensure harvested citrus fruits are packed efficiently and carefully to maintain quality during storage and transport.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect harvested fruit for quality before packing.
- Pack fruits into designated containers or packaging materials.
- Label packed fruit accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness in the packing area.
- Follow health and safety guidelines.
- Report any quality or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Assist with other tasks as required by the supervisor.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Must be above 18 years of age.
- Attention to detail for quality packing.
- Physical ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for long periods.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
- No prior experience required, but experience in agricultural packing is advantageous.
- Positive attitude and team-oriented work ethic.
