Overview:

Clicks Group is hiring Shop Assistant / Cashiers for its stores in Edumbe and surrounding areas. This role is focused on delivering excellent customer service, efficient point-of-sale operations, and maintaining store presentation to ensure a positive and professional shopping experience.


Key Responsibilities:

-Execute all point-of-sale (POS) operational activities accurately and on time.

-Handle cash safely and ensure high levels of accuracy in payment processing.

-Promote and register customers for the Clicks ClubCard programme to meet store targets.

-Engage customers on current in-store promotions to encourage sales.

-Act as a brand ambassador by providing friendly, visible, and professional service.

-Maintain in-store merchandising and general housekeeping standards according to visual guidelines.

-Keep product knowledge updated to assist customers with correct and relevant information.

-Contribute to the store’s mission to be the first-choice health and beauty retailer in South Africa.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Essential: Grade 12 (Matric)
    • Desirable: Minimum 50% in Mathematics and English at Grade 12 level
  • Experience:
    • Desirable: Previous experience in a customer-facing retail or FMCG environment
