Overview:
Clicks Group is looking for passionate and customer-focused Shop Assistant / Cashiers to join their team in Ladysmith and surrounding areas. This role is focused on providing excellent in-store customer service and executing operational and merchandising activities to ensure an exceptional shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
-Carry out all point-of-sale (POS) operations efficiently and accurately.
-Ensure accurate scanning of merchandise and secure handling of cash and payments.
-Actively promote the Clicks ClubCard and assist with enrolling new members.
-Inform customers about current promotions to enhance sales.
-Maintain high standards of customer service by being approachable, helpful, and professional.
-Support store merchandising and general housekeeping as per store visual guidelines.
-Keep product knowledge up to date to assist customers with accurate and helpful information.
-Contribute to the overall store objective of being the customer’s first-choice health and beauty retailer.
Requirements:
- Education:
- Essential: Grade 12 (Matric)
- Desirable: Minimum 50% in Mathematics and English at Grade 12 level
- Experience:
- Desirable: Previous experience in a customer-facing retail or FMCG environment
