Overview:
Clicks Group is hiring Shop Assistant / Cashiers for its stores in Umhlanga and surrounding areas. This role is essential to providing outstanding customer service and ensuring the efficient execution of in-store operations. Key Responsibilities:
-Efficiently manage all point-of-sale (POS) operations.
-Maintain high accuracy in scanning merchandise and handling customer payments.
-Ensure safe and secure handling of cash and other payment methods.
-Actively promote and assist customers with Clicks ClubCard sign-ups to meet participation targets.
-Keep customers informed about ongoing promotions to boost sales.
-Deliver professional and friendly customer service, representing the Clicks brand positively.
-Maintain merchandising and housekeeping standards aligned with store guidelines.
-Stay up to date with product knowledge, promotions, and events to assist customers effectively.
Requirements:
- Education:
- Essential: Grade 12 (Matric)
- Desirable: 50% or higher in Mathematics and English at Grade 12 level
- Experience:
- Desirable: Previous experience in a customer-facing role in a retail or FMCG environment
