Tailormade Staffing is recruiting Spray Painters and a Panel Saw Operator to join its production team in Durban. We are looking for skilled, detail-oriented individuals with prior experience in similar roles. Candidates must reside in the listed surrounding areas and demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and strong technical ability.

Requirements & Skills

  • Matric / Grade 11 minimum.
  • 1–3 years’ relevant experience in the same role.
  • Must reside in Jacobs, Wentworth, uMlazi, or surrounding areas.
  • Clear criminal record.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Technical experience specific to either spray painting or panel saw operation.

Spray Painter Responsibilities

  • Discussing design and colour choices with clients and supervisors.
  • Removing rust, dirt, or loose materials using wire brushes, acids, or other methods.
  • Filling, sanding, and smoothing product surfaces before spraying.
  • Masking off areas not to be sprayed with tape and coverings.
  • Mixing and preparing coating liquids to specification.
  • Choosing and attaching the correct spray nozzles for desired patterns.
  • Applying coatings using proper industry spray techniques.
  • Creating spray designs with stencils when required.

Panel Saw Operator Responsibilities

  • Operating panel saws with precision and efficiency.
  • Measuring, cutting, and shaping materials as required.
  • Ensuring adherence to safety standards and equipment maintenance.
  • Supporting the production team with accurate, high-quality outputs.
