Learnership Overview

• Stallion Security Training Centre is an accredited provider of the Saqa ID:58577 Qualification. NQF Level 3 General Security Practices (124 CREDITS).

Requirements to Apply:

In order to qualify for this learnership, interested parties are required to:

• Constitute a South African citizen
• Being unemployed
• Must be between the ages of 21 and 27
• Possess a Grade 12 diploma or NCV Level 4
• Maintain a spotless criminal record

Recruitment Areas:

Currently, learners are being recruited from the following residential areas:

• Ekurhuleni region: Springs, Tembisa, Boksburg, Benoni, Germiston, Katlehong, Thokoza, Pretoria – Mamelodi, and surrounding areas
• Vaal – close to Sebokeng area
• Johannesburg/Alexandra and surrounding areas

Learnership Particulars

• The program is comprised of a combination of theoretical (30%) and practical (70%), twelve-month instruction.
• Qualified students acquire industry knowledge regarding security.

Upon the Finalization of the Learnership

• Acquiring a national qualification (NQF level 3) in general security practices is the result of successful learners.
• Upon graduation, individuals are hired as security officers by Stallion Security, a market-leading security firm.

Rollout Strategy

The learnership implementation schedule is one year:

Initial Month:

• Company induction • Psira Grade E • Psira Grade D • Psira Grade C

The second month:

• Phase one of the qualification consists of twelve-unit standards.

The Third Month:

Phase 2 of the qualification consists of twelve unit standards.

• Workplace or practical experience

Learners are mentored on practical competency at one of Stallion Security’s locations on a monthly basis.
