π Position Details
- Job Title: Station Fire Officer
- Salary Scale: C3 (P127,092 β P150,852 per annum)
- Leave: 25 working days per annum

π Qualifications
- Cambridge Certificate
- Intermediate Certificate in Fire Engineering OR
- Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management
- Ambulance Emergency Assistant qualification
π§βπ Experience
- Minimum of two (2) yearsβ work experience as a Sub Fire Officer
π― Primary Purpose of the Job
To manage and coordinate all activities of the fire station to ensure effective fire prevention, response, and safety services within the community.
π Key Duties & Responsibilities
-Educate the community on fire prevention and safety measures
-Investigate fire incidents and determine causes and effects
-Conduct inspections of business premises for compliance with fire safety regulations
-Control traffic and assess public exposure to hazardous materials
-Prepare fire prevention and incident reports
-Assess building plans and make recommendations for approval
-Conduct topographical familiarisation visits
-Plan work schedules and supervise fire station staff
-Review and appraise junior staff performance
-Identify training needs and conduct in-service training
-Perform any other related duties as assigned by management
