Overview:
The Department is seeking a Statistical Officer to handle data collection and analysis, producing essential reports and publications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistics and analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
-Collect data and perform statistical analysis.
-Facilitate data collection channels.
-Produce statistical publications, reports, and presentations for the National Operations Centre.
-Conduct sampling and basic statistical methods for estimation and interpretation of results.
Requirements:
-National Diploma in Statistics or Mathematics (SAQA recognized).
-Minimum of 1 year experience in a statistical environment.
-Valid driver’s license.
-Skills: Computer literacy, planning and organizing, written and verbal communication, and understanding of customer service.
