Job Title: Driver Code 14 (PDP)
Overview:
Steinmüller Africa is seeking a reliable and experienced Code 14 Driver with a valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP) to join our team. The primary purpose of this role is to safely and efficiently transport goods, equipment, and employees to and from various sites. This position demands strict adherence to all traffic regulations and company procedures while maintaining the vehicle in top condition.
Responsibilities:
-Load and unload materials for delivery and collection, ensuring proper handling and safety.
-Transport employees to different work locations as required.
-Comply with the Road Traffic Act, Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act, and all company procedures.
-Perform daily inspections of the vehicle and report any defects to maintain reliability and compliance with regulations.
-Ensure vehicles are kept clean and well-maintained at all times.
-Assist with general store duties when necessary.
-Carry out any other related duties as required.
Competencies:
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.

- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Must maintain sober habits at all times.
Preferred Requirements:
- Grade 12/N3 qualification.
- A minimum of 3 years of public driving or transportation experience.
- Valid Code 14/EC driver’s license with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
- Knowledge of Gauteng and Mpumalanga roads is an advantage.
- Residency in or near Bethal or Emzinoni is preferred.
