Overview:

FlySafair, a leading South African low-cost airline, is seeking a Temporary Cleaner to join its Head Office in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will ensure cleanliness and hygiene across all designated areas of the facility. The position reports directly to the Manager: Facilities and supports the business’s ongoing commitment to a clean, safe, and professional working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

-Clean all designated facility areas including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.

-Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and wash surfaces as required.

-Monitor cleaning supplies and notify Facilities when stock levels are low.

-Report any maintenance issues or facility-related deficiencies.

-Follow all health and safety regulations and hygiene protocols.

-Assist in ensuring sufficient stock of staff refreshments and consumables for allocated departments.

-Perform ad hoc duties as needed in line with operational requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

–Grade 12 / Matric certificate (Essential)

-Previous work experience as a cleaner (Advantageous)

-Understanding of cleaning best practices and hygiene standards

-Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies

-Willingness to assist with general tasks as directed
