About the Role
Foschini, a leading fashion retailer under TFG (The Foschini Group), is seeking a Sales Associate to join our team at Airport Junction, Gaborone. We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused individual with a passion for fashion retail and delivering outstanding customer service.
As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring a great shopping experience for our customers, achieving sales targets, and maintaining high store standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a brand ambassador, delivering an outstanding in-store customer experience.
- Understand customer needs and recommend the best product solutions to exceed expectations.
- Stay up to date with fashion trends and product knowledge to assist customers effectively.
- Actively track sales performance and contribute towards achieving store targets.
- Assist with stock replenishment and merchandising to ensure an organized shopping environment.
- Engage in new business opportunities, including customer outreach and upselling.
- Maintain a clean and visually appealing store layout.
- Execute the company’s customer service strategy to build strong customer relationships.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Botswana General Certificate of Secondary Education (BGCSE) or equivalent.
- Certificate or Diploma in Retail, Business Administration, or Sales & Marketing (added advantage).
- At least 1 year of experience in sales, customer service, or retail (preferred).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Target-driven with a passion for exceeding sales goals.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and evening shifts.
- Strong work ethic with a hands-on and proactive approach.
- Ability to handle administrative duties and track sales performance.
- Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- A team player with good problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
