Responsibilities

  • Provide transportation services for the program and assets.
  • Support fleet management and related duties.
  • Conduct monthly vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logs.
  • Monitor vehicle license expirations and report to Head Office promptly.
  • Gather information for vehicles involved in accidents or traffic violations.
  • Monitor and store unused assets safely, maintaining a stock sheet.
  • Assist with asset verification as needed.
  • Submit vehicle and asset reports as required.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 education.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Minimum of five years of driving experience, preferably in an NGO setting.
  • Some security experience.
  • Experience in HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and support programs is advantageous.
  • Valid Code 10 driver’s license with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
  • Sensitivity to working with vulnerable or hard-to-reach populations.
  • Proficiency in English and IsiZulu.
