Overview:
Timbercity Protea Glen is seeking a dedicated and experienced driver to join our team. This permanent position requires a reliable individual who is committed to upholding our company values and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
– Deliver goods to various locations
– Ensure the vehicle is neatly packed to prevent damages and breakages
– Supervise and assist with loading the vehicle
– Conduct daily inspection checks and report any defects
– Maintain the vehicle in good working condition
– Ensure the correct quantities and supplies are delivered
– Work towards reducing vehicle-related costs
– Authorize delivery notes
– Collect COD (Cash on Delivery) payments
– Provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
– Grade 12 education
– Valid Code 10 driver’s license for vehicles weighing between 3501 and 9000 kg
– At least 2 years of relevant driving experience
– Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
